

Nitrox (Enriched Air) R1500
Although availability of Enriched air (Nitrox) is sometimes scarce at remote destinations this is fast becoming the most requested specialty. By completing your Nitrox specialty you are increasing your no stop decompression limits but more importantly for most you complete your dive with less fatigue and feeling 100% better than with air. Diving the Red Sea is a must on Nitrox to extend those dive times and ability to dive 4 times a day.
Nitrox is a Dry course with no in-water training needed although practical gas analysing is done. Mostly the theory contains more tables.
The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International, your training manuals and tables from PADI and all your tuition.
This course requires an hour of self study and two hours theory. Done in the comfort of your home.
Deep R2000
Taking you to a depth of 40m that helps you discover life forms and wrecks that do not exist at shallower depths.

Wreck R2000
Secrets that the ocean has taken are now able to be explored at a new level. An incredible experience. Although this specialty can be completed inland it is advisable to attend a trip to the coast to see what the oceans of the South Coast have to offer or the Red Sea.

Executive Open Water R4300
Learn how to Scuba Dive in the comfort of your home, a training pool near you and at a time that most suits you. Specializing in One on One Training, however Family Groups or Groups of friends are welcome but no strangers are combined in the theory or confined water sections of this training. This training will allow you to dive to a maximum of 18m.
Honey Coastline’s preference is that before you sign up to a PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course you consult your local Diving Doctor to ensure that you are medically fit to learn to dive.
The Executive Scuba Diving Course will include a couple of hours self study at home together with the Open Water DVD before lectures begin. It is then necessary to set aside 5 hours for theory (incl. the exam) and another 5 hours for practical training in the pool. These time allocations are flexible as Honey Coastline’s approach is to not rush any person in their personal needs to perfect their skills. 4 Open Water dives are then necessary. These dives can be split with 2 dives inland and 2 in the ocean or all 4 can be done in the ocean.
The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International, your training manuals, personal copy of Open Water DVD and tables from PADI, the use of a BCD, Regulator and Cylinder for the duration of your course, Pool fees and all your tuition.
Your personal equipment of a wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt and weights, and booties if needed are not included in the cost of the course but are necessary. Honey Coastline offers a wide range that is available to you if do not already have this equipment.
Entry fees to local dive sites and/or your coastal trip costs are not included but need to be budgeted for.
Master Scuba Diver Programme
At Honey Coastline, any dive done on Advanced which is not necessary to redo on a specialty will result in a credit of R100 per dive. Do four Specialties and your Rescue and EFR with us and we will give you an Altitude or Peak performance buoyancy specialty for free. A payment plan can be arranged for the above programme.

Refreshers R450
Have you been out of the water for six months or more? All it takes is an hour in the pool to review your skills.
Discover Scuba Diving R250 per person at Honey Coastline offices or R500 per person in the comfort of your own swimming pool.
R250 will be deducted from the cost of the Open Water Course should you wish to continue your open Water Course.
It is also possible to do all other specialties not listed above.

Classroom Open Water R2950
Classroom training is available at the Honey Coastline with a group of 4 or more. Honey Coastline’s preference is that before you sign up to a PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course you consult your local Diving Doctor to ensure that you are medically fit to learn to dive. Classroom Open Water will consist of 5 evening theory lectures, quizzes and exam with a minimum of 4 participants, 2 pool sessions and 4 ocean dives ( Cost of dives not included). The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International, your training manuals, and tables from PADI, the use of a BCD, Regulator and Cylinder for the duration of your course, and all your tuition.
This offering included all gear however it is recommended that you purchase your personal equipment of a wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt and weights, and booties.
Entry fees and/or your coastal trip costs are not included but need to be budgeted for.
Advanced Open Water R2500
Enhance your dive skills and explore specialised dive activities with the PADI adventures in Diving. Continue your diving adventure with an additional 5 Specialty dives. The Deep and the Navigation are compulsory where the remaining three are your choice from a selection of 24 specialties. The most popular being Altitude, Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Fish ID, Drift Diving and Boat Diving. This allows you the benefit of diving to a depth of 30 meters and covers you in the event of just passing 18m. This can be done inland or coastal and at your convenience. A maximum of three dives can be done in a day, therefore two days are necessary to complete this course.

Rescue Diver R3000
Diving with your family member and the unlikely accident happens, Can you help them to the surface? For those who believe that they are going to remain recreational divers, this course is a must. Rescue teaches you self rescue and gives you the diver that extra confidence to react to a stressful situation. It gives you valuable experience in emergency management.
At this stage of training you need to have all your own equipment other than a scuba cylinder. This will be supplied should you not have your own. It is important to have your own equipment so that you are able to dive confidently in the gear that you use.
It is recommended that you either do this course in conjunction with the EFR (Emergency First Response) if you have not already completed the EFR.
The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International, your training manuals and all your tuition. The course entails self study of approximately four hours, with another four hours of theory, three hours in the pool and a day at an open water environment. Fitness is imperative as the course includes swimming.
PADI Seal Team -
Part One:R1500
Part Two: R250 per specialty
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba AquaMissions. Here's your chance to do some cool stuff in the pool, meet friends and share in the adventure of the underwater world. The PADI Seal Team program is broken into two parts. Part one, AquaMissions 1 - 5, teaches kids the basics of diving - things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. This is broken into 4 sessions. After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids move on to part two. Part two is full of specialty AquaMissions, which usually last about an hour. Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with flashlights, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? These are AquaMissions that introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more. PADI Seal Team helps children learn responsibility, teaches children about the aquatic environment, is a fun pool-only experience and iss conducted by certified, trained PADI Professionals. To participate in PADI Seal Team, a child must be at least 8 years old.


Shark R2000
Most divers start their diving career with a fear of the Shark due to the media. Sharks are the most magnificent creatures and an understanding of the species makes diving more comfortable. Depending on the season this course can be run with either the Ragged tooth or the Tiger sharks or a mixture of both. This course is only given at the South Coast and dives are at an extra cost.

Navigation R2000
An indepth look at navigating under the water with natural navigation as well as compass navigation.

Peak Performance Buoyancy R1500
Are you heavy on air? Have you looked at your posture and weighting whilst diving? Take time out your busy dive schedule to refine your way of diving making it more pleasant and longer lasting. Having Nitrox to extend your bottom time doesn’t help if you still chew your air. Fine tune your buoyancy and be comfortable with your diving. The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International and all your tuition.
Altitude R1500
Most divers living inland go diving at Miracle Waters or Bass Lake but don’t take Altitude into consideration. Understand dive planning at Altitude in order to avoid any unnecessary dive accidents. The cost of the course includes your certification with PADI International and all your tuition. This course has to be done inland.

EFR R1100
First Aid and CPR training is valid for two years. A course that is not only useful in diving but also at home and at the office. Self Study at home and an evening of theory and practical. Good fun to remember important tasks.

Dive Master R5500
GO PRO. Want to travel the world, or lead dives in your local environment or assist an instructor with student divers. Dive Master develops your leadership by training you to supervise a variety of dive activities. A very rewarding course but entails hard work. Fitness is imperative as timed swimming trials are inclusive as well as stress tests. This course is run either full time or part time but on average takes three to six months. Two away weekends are compulsory. Planning and management skills are also important. Dive Master is the first step towards Assistant Instructors and then Open Water Instructor.
